Visitor numbers were increased significantly during the 2009 expo. A total of 6779 visitors attended which was 2609 more visitors that attended in 2007.

Mediatech Africa 2009 attracted visitors from all over the world with a total of 183 foreign visitors who attended from 25 countries, the majority coming from Sub Saharan Africa.

Note: This question allowed for multiple answers to show the considerable cross-over of visitors' industry sectors of interest.

In 2009, 35.7% of visitors comprised of Owners, CEO's or Managing Directors of companies, while over 21% were other Senior Management. The remaining visitors were made up of Technicians, Buyers, Musicians and DJs, with a smaller percentage of Home Users and Students.

Over 50% of all visitors had authority to purchase and nearly 30% had purchasing influence.
