Revolabs to display best-in-class VoIP and conferencing products at SpiceWorld 2015

Revolabs®, the premier provider of audio solutions for unified communications (UC), enterprise collaboration, and professional audio applications, recently announced that it will showcase its complete line of audio-enhancing FLX™ UC IP and USB conference phones at the SpiceWorld 2015 IT Conference. Also on display will be the company’s Yamaha YVC-1000 unified communications microphone and speaker system. The SpiceWorld Conference runs Sept. 23-25 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas.

Sponsored by Spiceworks, an online IT community with more than 5 million members, SpiceWorld brings together both technical and marketing pros for two days of sessions and information-sharing on all things IT. Sessions range from general industry and Spiceworks topics to presentations from IT pros and tech marketers sharing their own in-the-trenches experiences.

Revolabs will demonstrate the FLX UC 500, FLX UC 1000, and the latest addition to the FLX UC product family: the FLX UC 1500 IP & USB conference phone with extension microphones. This audio conferencing solution enables users to add two directional microphones and bridge calls between VoIP and USB UC desktop applications. The result is the industry’s first all-in-one conferencing solution specifically designed for large meeting environments up to 20 people. Ideal for office spaces using VoIP or PC-based conferencing, the FLX UC 1500 IP & USB conference phone eliminates the need for separate conferencing units when conducting activities (such as softphone calls, webinars, and other computer-based collaboration) that have both IP and USB requirements. As a single inclusive solution, the FLX UC 1500 increases convenience for IT managers and meeting participants by letting users join any type of call — thereby solving today’s problem of switching equipment or managing multiple solutions per room in order to accommodate UC desktop applications or PBX-based systems.

Demonstrations will also feature the Yamaha YVC-1000, an intuitive UC audio solution for medium to large conference spaces that call for flexible audio, Web, or videoconferencing. The YVC-1000 features separate microphone and speaker units that smoothly integrate audio and video for natural, comfortable remote communication. The high-performance, full-range speaker unit can be placed close to the video display so that audio and video from the remote location blend naturally, while an adaptive echo canceller and other Yamaha sound-processing technologies facilitate stress-free conversation. With USB and Bluetooth® connectivity and up to five optional extension microphones, this solution enables meetings with up to 40 people in reconfigurable spaces.

“We look forward to SpiceWorld every year because it gives us a chance to connect with member IT professionals and demonstrate firsthand how our solutions can solve real-world conferencing and collaboration challenges,” said Randall Lee, director of strategic and channel marketing, Revolabs. “The IT community is on the cutting edge of the corporate world’s continuing transition to unified communications, and these professionals are in the perfect position to recommend products and technologies that help their constituents collaborate and be more productive. This year they’ll get an up-close look at our best-in-class audio solutions that bring a new level of quality and ease to VoIP and videoconferencing.”
