DTI rebate tips for beginner filmmakers

SCREEN AFRICA EXCLUSIVE: South African producer Carmel Nayanah has been lauded for her ability to make use of the Department of Trade and Industry’s rebate – an initiative which seeks to support South African filmmakers in producing film and television content. Nayanah, who has produced a number of feature films as well as local television programmes, shares with Screen Africa some key points in applying for and accessing this reimbursement.
