See new control-room specific flat panels among others from Christie this Intersec
When it comes to control rooms, not all flat panels are equal and at Intersec in Dubai, January (17th to 19th) visitors can see control room-specific flat panels from Christie as well as Christie’s trusted Phoenix controller with new upgrades and now ONVIF compliant.
“Christie’s new 55-inch flat panel is one of a range – with ultra-thin bezel – specifically designed so that they provide near seamless displays for control rooms that are at the ideal resolution and brightness; explained David Griffiths, Director, Market Development, Systems Solutions, who has spent over a decade giving consultative advice to governments and institutions worldwide on maximizing control room displays.
Processing power is, of course, key. “Every display will be linked with Phoenix. You’ll be able to see how it can really solve your content mobility on absolutely all displays – and in unison – even beyond the boundaries of the control room walls to remote, shared viewing. If you would like a screen showing in the board room, or at a different office location, at the same time, we can give you that.” adds Griffiths. ”The recent Phoenix upgrade means it’s the same cost but even more value and additional processing ability so you can expand the capability of your control room content.”
At Intersec Christie is partnering with Lund Halsey. “Lund Halsey are providing great Control Room technical furniture so you can see complete control room solutions in a real application setting,” said Griffiths.
Amongst the other displays linked by Phoenix will be industry favourites including 1 x HD70DLP EnteroHB Cubes with rear access projection, a proven technology for over a decade and upgradeable too now featuring even higher efficiency – brighter than previous cubes and using less energy. There will be a 4×1 array of MicroTiles which give high resolution, with a tiny footprint ideal for small spaces or large video walls and, as Griffiths emphasizes, “They give true 24/7 use in control rooms. If you want no burn, no damage, seamless displays, MicroTiles sit between flat panels and large DLP cubes. So, we offer everything depending on your exact requirement.”
