With an ever increasing demand for the use of drones over an array of cinematic applications, it is important for end users to understand what they are purchasing and the nature of the performance limitations of the drone or operator they are purchasing these services from.
South African Aviation Legislation, Part 101, pertaining to the use of drones is considered to be amongst the most stringent in the world. Flying drones for commercial purposes in South Africa thus requires very serious considerations from legal and logistical standpoints as well as performance limitations.
