Mayur Patel

Mayur Patel is a leader in the technology, mobile and media sectors. He is the CEO of Kwesé iflix, Africa’s fastest growing mobile sport and entertainment TV service. Previously, Mayur served as the EVP Strategy & Corporate Development for Econet Media, and the Chief of Staff for the Econet Group, one of the largest TMT companies in Africa. He also worked as Vice President of Strategy and Assessment at the Knight Foundation, a $2.5 billion US-based private foundation involved in digital transformation of the media field. Mayur serves on the World Economic Forum Global Future Council, and the advisory board of NYU Stern Centre for Business and Human Rights. A Rhodes Scholar, Mayur has a doctorate in international development from Oxford, and a BSc (Hons) in International Relations from LSE. Patel was born and raised in Zimbabwe.
