Olebogang Boinamo

Ole Boinamo is a passionate member of the training and technical support team at DWR Distribution.

With talent and interest in live entertainment, born while Ole was still at school, he often found himself working on church events and it seemed a natural progression to study Entertainment Technology at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) where he majored in Sound. In 2012, Ole joined the reputable MJ Event Gear as a junior technician and within a year, stepped into the role of lighting technician and received a nomination for the best lighting newcomer at the TPSA Awards. Following the latest lighting trends by attending training courses and shows, he was later appointed as Lighting HOD.

In 2015 Ole made a decision to fly solo and freelanced to explore what the industry had to offer. Exposed to both local and international shows, from theatre to live concerts and corporate events, Ole worked hard behind lighting consoles before being presented with an opportunity to join DWR. Ole continually strives to perform at his optimum, ensuring clients receive excellent service. Being able to speak in various languages, he has been able to teach students in their home language, making training that much beneficial for them, particularly on the MA platform.
