Wandile Mgcodo

Wandile Mgcodo is head technical technician at the Breytenbach Theatre, as well as freelance lighting and set designer. He has a passion for teaching. He technically mentors numerous community, professional and student theatre productions at various theatres, such as the Breytenbach, Rostrum, and The South African State Theatre. He is also the Project Manager of the HELLO Community Arts Programme, an initiative of the Tshwane University of Technology’s Department of Entertainment Technology. Wandile has served as a Theatre Advisory Panel member of the National Arts Council of South Africa. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Performing Arts Technology from the Tshwane University of Technology and is currently registered for his Master’s Degree.
